Awards
In 2021, two awards from state-wide organizations were granted. In October, the Connecticut Green Building Council awarded Trailblazers for the work in sustainability and notably for creating and successfully operating the mattress recycling operation with a staff of mostly ReEntry area residents. In November Environmental Achievement Award was recieved from the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters for Community Impact of our programs over the years. Governor Lamont, the State Legislature and our Congressman, Jim Himes, presented the award.
